What is Validic?

Why Validic?

As you've likely noticed, the growing number of digital health devices and apps presents organizations with an opportunity to use data to improve their user's outcomes. However, accessing this data requires your Engineering team to spend valuable development resources building and managing integrations to acquire this data. Validic solves this challenge by providing a one-to-many connection to digital health technologies. Allowing us to focus on providing data, allows you to focus on innovation!

How does it work?

Simply put, Validic connects to hundreds of devices and applications and extracts user-generated data. Once the data is extracted, we de-identify and convert data into a standard format and provide it to Validic customers in a JSON format. This ensures that developers receive a predictable, HIPAA/Safe Harbor/PHI compliant data source, regardless of the connected application or device.

Solutions

Validic has several solutions to help organizations better manage and connect with their populations.

Inform
Validic’s core platform provides you with a single API connection point for ingesting personal health data (“PHD”) from over 400 clinical and consumer health data sources.

Validic Inform captures, aggregates, standardizes and delivers data – regardless of the device manufacturer or connectivity model [e.g. API, OCR, Bluetooth, SDK]. Additionally, Validic deploys proprietary methods for its push service and use of streaming and REST application programming interfaces (APIs) to collect and share PHD with your organization.

Impact
Validic’s Remote Patient Monitoring (“RPM”) application provides your organization with the toolset to create, integrate and operate RPM programs within existing IT workflows, such as the Electronic Health Record (“EHR”).

The toolset, built on Validic Inform, enables health care organizations to integrate personal health data into health records, messaging services, and care management platforms. Validic Impact provides the needed visualizations and rules engines to quickly assess and act on data – offering a simple mechanism for enrolling new patients, setting triggers and notifications, and viewing patient readings.

COVID-19 Home Monitoring
Validic’s standalone remote patient monitoring (“RPM”) solution designed to continuously monitor vulnerable or exposed populations for the emergence of COVID-19 symptoms.

The standalone RPM solution enables patients to enter their coughing frequency, difficulty breathing, body temperature, and oxygen saturation (SPO2) into a secure, web-hosted portal. The personal health data are made accessible via a triage dashboard that visualizes the data to quickly interpret concerning trends or identify alarming reading. The solution allows clinicians to enroll new patients; set alerts and triggers; identify patient trends quickly; and search patients based on status and their latest readings.
